CaroMont Health vertical expansion

General Contractor:
Robins & Morton

Scope of Work:

Spectrum Interiors recently completed a vertical expansion to Caromont Health in Gastonia, North Carolina.

This project was a vertical expansion of the existing hospital from two to six stories. Floors 4,5 and 6 were upfitted to approximately 25,000 SF of patient rooms and treatment areas. In addition, two six-story towers were created, including elevators, lobbies, office space, and an elevated pedestrian bridge connecting the new addition with the existing hospital.

Our scope of work included exterior metal stud framing, Armorwall exterior sheathing, Interior metal framing, gypsum hanging and finishing, acoustical ceilings, specialty wood ceilings, and insulation.

It was a pleasure partnering with Robins & Morton on this project, and we look forward to working with them again in the near future.
